Carol A. Elliott, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Deer Meadows. She was 85 years old. Carol was born on April 25, 1941, in Ashland, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late John Halupa and the late Anna (nee Sweador) Halupa. She was a graduate of Murrell Dobbins Technical High School.
Carol met the love of her life, Ronald Elliott, on a blind date. The two married on August 8, 1964, at the Ukrainian Cathedral at 7th and Brown Streets in Philadelphia, beginning a marriage filled with love, family, and cherished memories.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, Carol dedicated herself to her family. She first worked as a dental assistant before stepping away from the workforce to raise her children. Later, she returned to work as an office manager, a position she held for 23 years.
Carol was a talented and creative woman who loved making things with her hands. She especially enjoyed crocheting, cooking, and ceramics. Her creativity, warmth, and generosity were reflected in the many things she made for the people she loved.
Carol was the beloved wife of the late Ronald Elliott; loving mother of Joseph Elliott and his wife, Andrea, Wayne Elliott and his wife, Deborah, and the late Anne Smith and her husband, Dovelle. She was a cherished grandmother to Janine, Nicole, Sara, Zachary, Zoe, Jessica, Macy, Jenna, Maxwell, Josh, and Brant, and is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
She was the sister of Jeannie Juzwiak and her husband, John, and the late Maryann Stuard and her late husband, Ernest.
Services will be private at the request of the family.
