Eleanor Ott Clancy, of Bristol, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 28th at St. Mary Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was 86. She was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 16th, 1938, and was the daughter of the late Ellen Blackmore Ott and William H. Ott.
Eleanor was the devoted wife of the late Edward J. Clancy, Sr. for 54 beautiful years. Together, they built a life filled with joy, laughter, and love. As a couple, they shared countless memories with friends and she cherished her family vacations at the beach. She held dear her Philadelphia sports teams, cheering enthusiastically, and passing down this spirited loyalty to her family
A graduate of Little Flower High School, Eleanor was proud of her education and spent many dedicated years working. After retiring, Eleanor embraced her golden years, enjoying simple pleasures with loved ones and living each day with grace.
Eleanor was a faithful communicant of the Church of St. Thomas Aquinas, Croydon, PA.
Eleanor was the loving and devoted mother to her children: Edward J. Clancy, Jr. (Sharon), Diane Wallick (the late Eugene), and Christine Guma, (Doug). Her warm heart shone through as a grandmother, creating memories and bonds that will be cherished by her grandchildren: Jessica Armendariz, (Ramon), Carly Wallick, Kaitlin Wallick, Matthew Wallick, Ryan Clancy (fiancée Gabrielle), Michael Clancy, Jamie Guma, and Stephen Guma. Eleanor adored her great-granddaughter, Ivy Armendariz, who brought an extra sparkle to her later years. Eleanor was the sister of the late William C. Ott, (Meg) the aunt of Heather Ott and Susan Ott, the sister-in-law of the late Claire Scally, (the late Bern), the late John Clancy, Patricia Scally, (the late James), Charles Clancy, (the late Peggy), Jeanette Jones, (the late Griff), Noreen Thomson, (the late Jerry), Jeri Mardt, (Thomas), Kitty Cusick, (the late William), the late Stephen Clancy (Candy) and James Clancy. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Eleanor’s family received condolences Friday, November 8th, 2024 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm until her Funeral Mass at 2:00pm at Queen of the Universe Church, 2443 Trenton Road, Levittown, PA.
