The following obituary was composed by Jack’s family:

John George “Jack” Popson, Jr.

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear Brother, John George Popson, Jr., who passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at the age of Seventy.

A lifelong resident of Levittown, Jack graduated from Neshaminy Senior High School in 1973. Following graduation, he dedicated his career to the Pennsbury School District where he served as head of maintenance and later honed his craft as a skilled senior glazier. He thereafter joined the forces of a local pest control company where he fostered many lifelong friendships and became a senior technician who trained those who followed.

Jack found immense joy and solace in the simple pleasures of life. He was especially fond of his apartment by the river where he would often spend his days fishing and tinkering with his automobiles. He was a man who loved his family, community, and the natural beauty of the area he called home.

Jack was preceded in death by his Beloved Parents, John G. Popson and Lilias Popson; his Loving Sister, Linda N. Arnold; and his Cherished Daughter, Leanne Popson.

Jack will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his devoted family: his Sister Kimberly Frizzelle and Brother-In-Law, Douglas Frizzelle; Niece, Emily Frizzelle; and his four adored Grandchildren, Kieran, Elijah, Mikey and Makayla Popson whom he loved dearly, as well as several beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

Forever in our Hearts. A Celebration of Life in Memory of our Beloved Brother, John G. Popson, Jr., will be held at a future date to be determined.
