The following obituary was written by Paulette’s family.
Paulette T. Sabatelli, born April 13, 1945, in Berwick, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026. Paulette lived a life marked by dedication, compassion, and a deep love for her family, friends and community.
She graduated from Berwick High School and went on to earn her Teaching Degree from Bloomsburg University. Paulette lived happily in Hatboro, PA most of her adult life. She enjoyed; celebratory joyful gatherings with family and friends, bible study, teaching vacation bible school, bird and squirrel watching, shopping, and trips to the Jersey Shore with cousins, Maxine and Patti, family, and friends. She also enjoyed visiting Williamsburg, VA with her late husband Phil as well as listening to music locally and loved all animals especially her sweet dog Bootsie. Paulette was a hardworking woman who had experience in business and hospitality; however, always enjoyed being a lifelong educator. Paulette devoted most of her professional career to teaching, and tutoring, shaping young minds and leaving a lasting impact on countless students. Her commitment to education reflected her belief in kindness, patience, and the power of learning.
Paulette was a true Aries with her infectious enthusiasm, courageousness, sweet but fiery personality, dancing queen moves, quick wit and fierce loyalty to family and friends.
Paulette was most recently married to her beloved husband, Philip J. Sabatelli, who preceded her in death in 2021. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Anna Timko and her brothers, Paul and Theodore Timko.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Rebecca Allred (Jack) and Jennifer Ziegler-Stadvec (John); her stepdaughter, Beth Myers(Ed); her granddaughters, Jaymison Ziegler and Jordyn Stadvec; and her step grandsons, Samuel Myers and Alexander Myers, all of whom were a great source of pride and joy in her life. Paulette will be remembered as a devoted mother, Grammy, daughter, sister, cousin, teacher and friend whose warmth, kindness and guidance touched many. Her memory will live on in the lives she influenced and the family and friends she loved so deeply.
Family and Friends were invited to Celebration of Life for Paulette, at Lehman Memorial United Methodist Church, 300 South York Road, Hatboro, PA 19040 on Tuesday, January 20th, 2026 Greeting took place at 10:00am and service at 11:00am. (Text Rebecca for Zoom Link if you can not attend in person).
