Beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Friend
Maria Marllely Bautista Castelblanco
was born to Carmen Elisa Castelblanco Salinas
and Victor Agapito Bautista Quiroga. She was
the sixth of ten surviving children, five of whom
remain with us.
When Marllely was 24 years old, she moved to
Chicago, Illinois, got married, became an
American citizen, and eventually settled in
Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
She raised three children on her own, one of
whom predeceased her, showing them
extraordinary love, strength, and patience.
Marllely devoted her life to her family and her
faith. She was cherished for her warmth,
generosity, and devotion to her family.
In addition to her love of gardening and helping
others whenever she could, Marllely adored and
excelled at art and poetry. She had multiple
gallery showings of her artwork and won an
award from the International Society Of Poets.
